Kristen and Carter’s spring wedding at the H Hotel in Midland, Michigan was the perfect mix of elegance, intimacy, and family-centered moments.

They kept things simple and meaningful, with a small bridal party made up of close family, and special roles for their niece and nephew. Kristen included beautiful details like a custom dress hanger, heirloom jewelry, and airplane-themed accents—including a paper airplane sendoff after the ceremony!

Before the ceremony, they shared a private “first touch” and prayer around a corner—one of my favorite emotional moments to photograph. The ceremony in the Fireside Lounge was heartfelt and traditional, followed by golden hour portraits outside the H Hotel, in the courtyard, and downtown Midland.

The reception was full of personality—from pilot/copilot chair signs to special dances and a sweet tribute to their parents’ wedding songs. It was a joy to photograph such a meaningful day for such a kind couple.

Its YOUR day, therefore coverage for all wedding commissions cover your arrival at the church through the formalities at your reception. All wedding collections also include an image disk of (edited) high resolution digital negatives.

2024 wedding commissions start at $2645, with most clients choosing from album collections starting at $3145. I generally fill my schedule from April to October each year, so booking 10 - 12 months in advance is recommended.
