Madelynne and Matt’s summer wedding at The Manor at Fire Tower Hill in Lewiston, MI, was an incredible day to be a part of. Held on the longest day of the year, their celebration was full of sunshine, laughter, and unforgettable moments from start to finish.
The Manor is one of Northern Michigan’s most charming venues—surrounded by trees, full of history, and with enough room for the wedding party and family to stay right on site. The bridal suite upstairs buzzed with energy as the girls got ready in matching pajamas, while the guys hung out just down the path in a rustic shack outfitted with a mini bar and lounge.
Madelynne had a beautiful vision for her photos. We captured elegant detail shots and getting ready moments at the Manor, then traveled to a nearby lake house and stone house for portraits. With scenic water views and even a windmill on the property, it was a photographer’s dream.
Their outdoor ceremony, led by a family friend, was heartfelt and simple. Afterward, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while we wrapped up family photos. The reception inside the Manor featured great food from Kelly’s Catering, toasts that brought laughter and a few tears, and music by Epic Beats—the venue’s go-to DJ who kept the energy flowing all evening.
We snuck out just before 9:30 for a few golden hour photos, and the sunset did not disappoint. It was the perfect way to end a day filled with so much love, personality, and celebration.
