Liz and Spencer’s May wedding combined natural beauty with classic elegance, featuring a sweet outdoor ceremony at Dow Gardens and a cozy reception at Midland Country Club.
Getting Ready & Ceremony
The morning started at a private home in Midland before heading to Dow Gardens’ Willow Tree site. With help from family and bridesmaids, Liz got into her dress while Spencer’s crew prepped nearby. One of her bridesmaids officiated the intimate 75-guest ceremony, held beneath the trees in peak spring bloom.
Family Photos & Personal Moments
After the ceremony, we captured family photos, including grandparents, siblings, flower girls, and ring bearers. Special attention went to blended family groupings and friends who played a meaningful role in their day.
Reception at the Country Club
Cocktail hour began at Midland Country Club, followed by a grand entrance and dinner. Instead of a cake cutting, Liz and Spencer spent time visiting with guests before sharing a combined first and parent dance. The night ended with romantic sunset portraits around the gardens.
