ShaVonne + Ryan | DOW Gardens engagement session

Recently I had the chance to photograph ShaVonne & Ryan at DOW Gardens here in Midland. It was an early morning session which I was totally stoked about. I’ve shot at the gardens a few times throughout the summer but all evening sessions. Because we scheduled this session in the morning the sun was in a completely different location in the sky which forced me to look at the entire facility in (literally) a new light. I constantly strive to bring a new perspective to the locations I shoot and simply changing the time of day we went out proved to be an incredible opportunity.

I can’t thank ShaVonne and Ryan enough for being fantastic subjects. Our session may have been a quick one but I still feel we got some really great images for them.
