Alysa + Lee | Great Lakes Bay Engagement Photographer

I will be photographing Alysa & Lee’s wedding this coming February and I can’t wait! We were just discussing how we actually hope it snows just prior to the wedding so we have fresh snow to photograph in. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure thats THE ONLY reason I’m excited for snow this coming Michigan winter. Otherwise I’m just fine with my 70’s and sun thank you very much =).

For this engagement picture session we met just off a side road leading to the Chippewa Nature Center in Midland. I’m pretty sure I got the look of ‘what the heck are we doing in a field’ look, but they went with it and I think we got some great stuff. The sun was not cooperating, but for 5-10 seconds it started to peek out and we exploited it for all we could.

It was sooo worth dodging traffic for this shot =).

Last but not least we stopped off at a final location just off the Midland Rail Trail. It was overcast and dreary but some strategic use of a speed light helped create some excitement in these final images.
